Skye bank customer service week

BevShine events was called upon to decorate seven branches of Skye bank for their customer service week. It was an honor to decorate these branches and we had a lot of fun doing it. They basically wanted a simple corporate decor incorporating lights,ribbons and drapes. We did all that and added a few extra touches.



We are pleased to announce that out of the 260 skye bank branches, two of the branches we decorated where nominated for " the best decorated branch". Voting for the over all best is ongoing right now on the skyebank Facebook page.....I hope one of the branches we decorated wins...fingers crossed.

Colour combinations



One of the biggest decisions you will have to make when planning your event is coming up with a colour scheme aka colour(s) of the day. Coming up with a great wedding colour is a very stressful part of any wedding. The colour scheme not only sets the tone for the wedding but the rest of your planning is also based on it.

Event highlights : chieftaincy title

Good day beautiful people,

This weekend we had an event at Sango Ota, Ogun State, a rustic town just outside Lagos. Being my first time in Ota I thought it was far from our base in Lagos, so I was excited at the prospect of a road trip *yahhhh* or not because we got there in less than an hour.

The event was a chieftaincy title ceremony and our job included coordination, welcoming guests, crowd control, distribution of brochures, ensuring all guests got food and drinks, distribution of gift packs etc

It was an interesting experience. 

All in all the event was a success.

When you're planning your wedding, it's really important to know how to avoid becoming a Bridezilla. It's understandable that a bride wants her wedding to be memorable, but some just go too far. We've all encountered a demanding bride who wants everything to be beyond perfect! So while you're ordering invitations and trying on dresses, follow these tips on how to avoid becoming a Bridezilla … 

1. WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

The first tip on how to avoid becoming a bridezilla is to remind yourself what the wedding is all about. It's easy to get caught up in all the excitement and focus simply on the wedding day. A wedding is a lovely occasion but it's just the start. There are lots of years to follow! Remember that marriage is about making a commitment and building a relationship together. 

2. PERSPECTIVE

It's your day, but there is no need to turn into a white-clad dictator. If you start trying to micro-manage every detail of the day, then it becomes less about having a wonderful, memorable wedding. You don't want to be obsessive. So don't go overboard.

3. LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLE

Listen to the people who are close to you. If they tell you that you're going over the top then they may have a point. Brides can easily get so excited about planning their dream wedding that they lose a sense of perspective. Other people don't have the same emotional investment in your wedding, so they can see when you're in danger of going over the top.

So congratulations on your wedding and have fun thinking about all the essentials before planning a wedding! 

1. BUDGET

This will probably be the first thing that comes to mind before planning a wedding. It will be the determining factor when it comes down to the size, venue, food, dress, and everything else in a wedding. You cannot start to plan all of the intricate details of a wedding without coming to a conclusion on a budget with your significant other.
2. SIZE

The size of the wedding will also be a huge thing to think about before planning a wedding. Would you rather have every friend there or have a more intimate wedding with just family and close friends? The size of the wedding has so much more significance than just staying under budget. It can set the tone for how much attention you can pay to each individual guest.
3. PRIORITIES

Do you want religion to be a large part of the wedding? Or do you want to spend more time focusing on the entertainment and reception? You need to figure out what you want to prioritize and spend the most time on during the planning process. Today's Event highlight focuses on The wines of South African grand tasting, Nigeria, which held at the Federal palace hotel on the 19th of July. It was a classy event for up traders, wine connoisseurs and wine lovers. It was also a great opportunity for networking. There was Jazz music to serenade guests. It was truly a wonderful ambience.
